Rider Loses Control


24/2/19 – This afternoon RACQ Capricorn Rescue was tasked to transfer a man in his early 50’s through to Rockhampton Hospital. The man had been out riding his motorbike in company with a friend when he failed to negotiate a corner and lost control. He came to rest on the side of the road and was initially treated on scene by the Queensland Ambulance Service for suspected head and abdominal injuries. The patient was met by the RACQ Capricorn Rescue team where the patient was stabilised by the on-board Doctor and Critical Care Paramedic before being transferred in a stable condition through to Rockhampton Hospital
