Colour Me Capricorn

RACQ Capricorn Rescue invites you to be a part of the most colourful fun run in Rockhampton this year! Run, walk, dance or stroll your way along the garden path, covering the Kershaw Gardens in a cloud of colour on Sunday 22nd March.

About the Project

The Clarke Creek Wind and Solar Farm project is located 150 km north west of Rockhampton and 150km south of Mackay in the Isaac Shire and Livingstone Shire areas. The project has received necessary State and Federal Government approvals to develop – up to 195 wind turbines with a power output over 800 MW, between 200 MW and 400 MW of solar power, and battery energy storage.


This project received assistance from Rockhampton Regional Council’s Community Assistance Program.

Today, KBSC operate from four venues, The Clubhouse, The Spinnaker, Krackers Bar & Grill plus Club Emu Park, while supporting the sports of Sailing and Bowls. Boasting 14,000 members, Keppel Bay Sailing Club is a not for profit organisation that employs over 100 staff from the local area.
