Mustering Accident

4/3/19 – Just before 3pm this afternoon, RACQ Capricorn Rescue was tasked to a property located approximately 100kms North West of Rockhampton to retrieve a patient who was involved in a motorcycle related incident.

 

Reportedly mustering cattle at the time, the patient collided with a ditch whilst riding their motorbike subsequently causing them to fall and sustain a suspected fracture to their left leg.

 

Upon arrival to the scene, the Recue 300 crew with the on board Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor treated the patient for their injuries before being airlifted to the Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
