Motor vehicle accident in Mt Morgan
At 10am Rescue 300 responded to a primary motor vehicle accident in Mt Morgan where a vehicle carrying four people had lost control and slammed into a telephone pole at the bottom of a hill almost dislodging the pole and cutting the car in half.
The aircraft skilfully landed in an adjacent street with SES crews maintaining crowd control. A 24 year old male was airlifted to Rockhampton Base Hospital with fractures to both legs, and suspected internal bleeding and fractured pelvis.
