Teenager Falls From Motorcycle

14/11/18 – Just after 1pm this afternoon, RACQ CapRescue was tasked to a property north of Gladstone where a teenage patient had fallen from their motorcycle. The young adolescent was riding on a dirt road just before midday when the bike slipped, causing them to fall.

The patient sustained significant lacerations and abrasions as well as possible spinal injuries from the accident which required treatment from the on board Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor. The Rescue 300 medical crew assisted the patient for their injuries and transported them to the Rockhampton Base Hospital for further treatment in a stable condition.
