B-Double Roll Over

08/07/19 – Just before 1.30am,RACQ Capricorn Rescue was tasked to the scene of a Primary Motor Vehicle Accident where the driver of a B-Double truck had rolled over on the Bruce Highway, just south of St Lawrence. The driver was extracted from the vehicle and suffering severe lacerations to the torso area.

The patient were initially treated by road Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics before the arrival of Rescue 300 and crew. They were then further stabilised by the on board Doctor and Critical Care Paramedic before immediate transport to Rockhampton for further scans and treatment.

Due to the weather, the patient was transported to the RACQ Capricorn Rescue base before being taken to the Rockhampton Base Hospital.
