Primary Horse Fall Mission

12/10/20 – This morning, the #RACQ #CapRescue crew responded to a mission south west of Rockhampton in response to a female patient sustaining injuries in relation to a fall from a horse.
Just after 9am this morning the #Rescue300 crew was en route to a primary horse fall approximately 160 kilometres south west of Rockhampton after reports a female patient in her fifties had fallen from her horse while mustering, resulting in a suspected spinal injury.
The patient received initial medical assistance from responding road Queensland Ambulance Service Paramedics prior to the arrival of the Rescue300 crew.
Upon Rescue300’s arrival to the scene, the on board medical crew provided further assistance and prepared the patient for the flight to Rockhampton Hospital.
The patient was transported to Rockhampton in a stable condition.
