Weekend Wrap Up

18/05/20 – After a quiet week, the #RACQ #CapRescue crew were kept busy transporting many unwell patients across Central Queensland over the weekend.
Friday afternoon, Rescue 300 were tasked by
Queensland Health
to transport a female patient from Emerald Hospital who was being initially treated for obstetric complications.
Shortly after returning to Capricorn Rescue base, the crew were again tasked to transport another patient from Emerald Hospital; this time for an unwell patient with cardiac and diabetic complications.
Saturday morning the crew were back in the sky, airlifting a patient receiving initial treatment from Blackwater Hospital for a nasty tonsillitis infection.
That was all for Saturday, until late Sunday evening the crew were tasked to an island north east of Marlborough for a patient suffering stroke-like symptoms and required immediate transportation to Rockhampton Hospital.
All patients were transported in stable conditions to Rockhampton Base Hospital where they received the further treatment they required.
