Weekend Wrap Up

13/07/20 – After one of the more uneventful weeks #RACQ #CapRescue has experienced lately, the Rescue 300 crew had a relatively active weekend.
Midday Saturday, #RACQ #CapRescue was tasked by Queensland Health
to Blackwater Hospital to transport a patient that was being treated for a severe asthma attack. The patient was airlifted to Rockhampton Base Hospital where they were admitted into the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment.
Just before 11am Sunday morning, a patient from the Rolleston area required emergency transportation to Rockhampton Hospital after they fell off their horse on a remote property. Suffering suspected spinal injuries, they were stabilised at the scene prior to being airlifted.
