Weekend Wrap Up

10/08/20 – | Saturday |
#RACQ #CapRescue was tasked to Springsure by
Queensland Health
late Saturday evening to provide the emergency transportation of a patient that had been involved in a single vehicle rollover on the Dawson Highway.
Suffering suspected internal and lower limb injuries, the patient was initially treated at the scene by
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS)
Paramedics prior to being transported to Springsure where the QAS road personnel met the awaiting RACQ CapRescue crew.
The patient was assessed and stabilised by the onboard Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor before being transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a stable condition for further scans and treatment.
With just the single task, Central Queensland gave our Rescue300 a much needed breather this weekend to rest, recovery and get ramped up for the week ahead!
