Weekend Wrap Up

14/09/20 – | FRIDAY |
Queensland Health tasked #RACQ #CapRescue to Biloela Hospital just after 11am Friday morning to transport a 58 year old patient who was suffering with pneumonia and required further medical assistance in Rockhampton. Due to the weather in Rockhampton, the Rescue300 crew were unable to land atop the Rockhampton Hospital, therefore the patient was transported from the #CapRescue base to the Hospital by road Queensland Ambulance Paramedics.
#RACQ #CapRescue was tasked to Stanage Bay to retrieve an elderly patient suffering suspected cardiac symptoms. They were stabilised prior to being transported to Rockhampton Hospital for immediate care.
Late Saturday evening, Rescue300 was tasked to Emerald Hospital to transport a middle aged patient who was suffering a serious medical condition. They were transported to receive further care in Rockhampton.
Sunday evening #RACQ #CapRescue was tasked to Springsure Hospital after a patient involved in a single vehicle roll over was transported to receive initial care for suspected spinal injuries prior to the arrival of Rescue300. The second occupant of the vehicle was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities.
It was an incredibly busy and devastating weekend for our #RACQ #CapRescue crew. We look forward to this week ahead and hope Central Queensland takes care, remembering our Rescue300 crew are here to help, 24/7/365.
